On the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary,
mr. and mrs. de Lezenne Coulander received a beautiful
orchid as a surprise present from their relatives in
Canada.
The plant is about three feet high, carries many flowers
and even more buds ready to spring into bloom.
A brother and sister of mrs. de Lezenne Coulander-Steenblok
emigrated to Canada in the fifties and sixties of the
previous century, and now live in Vancouver and its
surrounding area.
The accompanying photographs were taken by
mr. de Lezenne Coulander with his new digital camera,
a present from one of his children.
